Muslim fundraising for vandalised Jewish cemetery
A US Muslim-led project to help repair a Jewish cemetery that was vandalised has raised more than four times its initial target of $20,000. Earlier this week, 170 headstones were damaged in a St Louis cemetery in the US state of Missouri. Tarek El Messidi, one of the activists involved in the restoration campaign, spoke to 大象传媒 Newsday along with Barbara Perle who has family members buried at the site.
