Why do people risk their lives crossing from Libya to Italy?
At least 5,000 people died trying to reach Italy in 2016. Another 180,000 migrants made it. What were they fleeing? Federico Soda from the International Organisation for Migration explains that many are from various African countries and first travel to Libya to look for work.
