Should you bother to floss?
To floss, or not to floss; that is the question. Flossing has fallen out of favour in some quarters recently, despite being long-promoted as one of the foundations of good dental care. We've all been told we should do it, but is it really that important? Carl Henigan, Professor of Evidence Based Medicine at the University of Oxford, Dr Margaret McCartney and Dr Mark Porter look at what the evidence is for and against flossing.
