Gilbert O'Sullivan Part 1
He joined his first pop group when he was living in Swindon, he then went on to have 14 Top 40 hits including No 1's in both this country and America, and now Gilbert O'Sullivan is coming home to Wiltshire.
On the 9th March his 50th anniversary tour comes to the City Hall in Salisbury after the success of his Essentials Collection release.
He discusses the craft and routine of songwriting, how Art College in Swindon opened up his creative life, and the way the Beatles changed everything for both him and the landscape of the music industry.
