Reading FC: Stam knows the Royals got lucky
The Reading FC boss knows that someones getting a win is more crucial than how it comes.
After the game against Wolves, Jaap Stam said that "Sometimes it is all about the result isn't it?"
He continued, "At the end of the day, in a couple of weeks, people don't think about the game anymore if you played well and you lost, it's all about if you win or not."
With Leeds in 4th, Sheffield Wednesday in 6th, and Fulham in 7th, also winning this weekend, Stam knew that his side had to get a result.
"We knew at this stage of the season you need to get points, you need to win because you want to stay up there, and sometimes it is not always with good football."
