How reusable sanitary pads are helping keep girls in school
Remembering the problems she'd had in school without sanitary pads, Natasha Annie Tonthola decided to put her fashion designer experience to use. She has devised has devised a reusable sanitary pad that helps girls who previously wouldn't have been able to attend school during their period. As its reusable, it's also helping protect the environment. Natasha talks through what inspired her to come up with her award-winning design and Project Dignity, that manufactures and distributes the pads for free.
