The women-only African investment firm
According to the World Economic Forum, it will be more than 100 years before women have the same career prospects as men. But there are some helping to accelerate that substantially.
Louisa Mojela is well known in African business circles. Winner of the All Africa African Business Woman of the Year award, she runs a company called Wiphold - Women Investment Portfolio Holdings Limited.
The company is almost exclusively owned and run by women and through a unique trust system, seeks to empower more than 200,000 female entrepreneurs through education and social programmes.
The 大象传媒鈥檚 Lerato Mbele asked Ms Mojela if she thinks the empowerment of women is advancing at a satisfactory rate.
