London Irish: Laidlaw says Carnegie win boosts confidence
Clark Laidlaw is pleased with confidence boosting win against Yorkshire Carnegie.
London Irish Assistant Coach Clark Laidlaw hopes that a third win of the season over Yorkshire Carnegie will help the Exiles when it comes to the playoffs.
"It's going to be a squad effort come the back end of the year, some of the guys playing today will play in the most important games at the very end."
Laidlaw says that the squad are even looking ahead to the semi-final of the British and Irish Cup. He said "The boys...are excited to play Jersey back at home in a few weeks time."
Ultimately, though, Laidlaw says that keeping the winning streak going is the most important thing.
"Winning is good, playing well is good, and that's what we will take from today."
