Republicans Drop Trump Healthcare Bill
The healthcare reform bill was finally pulled, before a vote, on Friday afternoon.
It is being seen as the biggest setback so far for the Trump presidency. The healthcare reform bill, drawn up by the House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan and backed by the president was finally pulled on Friday afternoon. Two days of delayed voting revealed what many already assumed: there were not enough votes to get it through. We ask Daniel Lippman, reporter for Politico and a co-author of Politico's Playbook how big a setback this is for Donald Trump?
President Trump has approved the controversial Keystone XL pipeline. It will bring 800,000 barrels of crude oil from Canada to refineries on the Gulf of Mexico every day. The pipeline has faced much environmental opposition, but Sir Jonathan Porritt - a leading campaigner on climate change - tells us why in spite of this decision, he is not downcast.
