Adam Michaelson, legal adviser of the Leyton Orient Fans Trust, says the club is in 'mortal danger' after their High Court meeting.

Club chief executive Alessandro Angelieri gave the court a statement saying Becchetti would invest 拢1m to pay off remaining debts in eight to 10 weeks.

"It leaves the club in a state of significant uncertainty, and frankly, mortal danger. There is everything to suggest up until now that Mr Becchetti's work cannot be relied upon".

"We would call on Mr Becchetti to sell the club at the earliest possible opportunity so that it can be passed into the hands of people that clearly understand more about running this kind of organisation than he does".

"I think it serves a very interesting attitude on behalf of the club and the owners that they're prepared to wait this long, bring everyone through court, pay everybody on the eve of such a case, and then make a pledge to the court that they're going to inject further clubs into the club".

"That smacks to me as an individual that is playing games with the local community, and that's clearly not acceptable".
