Tips on avoiding a 拢50bn Brexit bill
A Conservative MP Sir Bill Cash has suggested that negotiators trying to minimise any Brexit fee could "tactfully" remind people that Germany had half its debts written off after the Second World War.
Sir Bill made his remarks to the UK ambassador to the EU, Sir Tim Barrow and Brexit Minister, David Jones as they gave evidence to the European Scrutiny Committee, as Kristiina Cooper reports.
