Online ticket site Viagogo criticised
The online ticketing site, Viagogo, has been strongly criticised by MPs for failing to turn up to a hearing on ticket sale abuse.
The Culture Committee heard from Ed Sheeran's manager, and music and theatre figures, about vastly inflated prices being asked for tickets that in some instances did not exist.
Simon Jones reports that the witnesses warned fans who buy "secondary" tickets they might well be wasting their money as they could find themselves turned away.
