UN slams South Sudan government over famine
Hundreds of thousands of civilians in South Sudan face famine after three years of conflict and escalating violence. With just 400 km of tarmac road in a country the size of France, the challenge to distribute food is huge. The UN Special Representative for South Sudan and Head of the Mission is David Shearer.
