The road to Brexit: a trip down memory lane
On 23 June, 2016 the UK voted to leave the European Union by 52% to 48%. With Britain set to trigger Article 50 - the mechanism by which the country formally begins the exit process - on 29 March 2017, the Westminster Hour takes a spin through the archives, from the 1975 referendum to remain in the-then European Economic Community to Theresa May's pronouncement "Brexit means Brexit".
