Corporal Jeff De Young is a former Combat Engineer for the US Marine Corps. He served as a dog handler in Afghanistan with his combat dog, Cena, a black labrador. He describes how Cena provided emotional support during his darkest hours - and may also have saved Jeff from suicide.
