Quad goat 'best friends with dog'
One of four goats born on a Suffolk farm has become best friends with a dog while being reared indoors as it grows stronger.
The British Toggenburgs and Red Boer cross kids were born last week at Fulibroch Dairy at Bures St Mary near Sudbury.
Tim Fairbairn, farmer, said one of the kids - Peewee - was having to be kept in a house and has since developed a strong bond with the family's Welsh foxhound dog, Gus.
Richard Pemble said cross-breeding goats meant their mother was more likely to produce quads.
"It's quite an achievement for the mother," he said. "Let鈥檚 hope they are all doing well."
He said it was unusual but not rare.
