Foster carers seek council employee status
Two foster carers in Glasgow who are seeking to be classed as council employees have said they will take their case to an employment tribunal.
James and Christine Johnstone say they have suffered an unlawful deduction of wages because no children were placed with them for a year.
The couple say they should have the same rights as all Glasgow City Council staff.
The council has said it would be inappropriate to comment before any tribunal.
The case could have wide-ranging implications for the future status of foster carers in Scotland, as 大象传媒 Scotland's Aileen Clarke reports.
