London Irish: Gilsenan gutted after Jersey defeat
The Exiles flanker is disappointed not to make the British and Irish Cup final.
Twelve changes were made to the Irish side ahead of the British and Irish Cup semi-final against Jersey Reds, and it resulted in them losing to the side for the second time in two weeks.
"Jersey are a good side," Gilsenan told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Adam Williams. "They put us under pressure, and they were a little more clinical than us today.
"We've got a big few weeks ahead of us, all is not lost, and we've just got to drive forward now towards the playoffs."
But Gilsenan reflected that this defeat could actually help in the season run-in.
"It just sharpens everything up, we've just got to come in every day now from Monday to Friday and just clean up those errors, discipline, and just operate a little bit better as a team."
