Criminal gangs use UK ports to defraud EU customs

Systematic failures by British customs officials have allowed criminal gangs to defraud the European Union of at least two billion pounds in just four years plus billions more in lost VAT. So says OLAF, the EU's anti-fraud bureau, which in an exclusive interview with the 大象传媒 reveals that around 80 per of customs evasion takes place at British ports, mainly Dover and Felixstowe.
