How Quakers from Cheshire helped hundreds of refugees from Nazi Germany

Sharing religious services from across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.

In a recent service recorded in Sandbach, Dr Peter Kurer spoke about his experiences during the Second World War. He and his family were forced to flee their home in Austria when they learned the SS were coming for them. They were aided in their escape, and subsequently housed in Britain by a family of Quakers.

Sharing religious services from across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire, our weekly faith programme brings you an offering from a congregation in the area every week - and most Sundays you have a further chance to listen again from 2.30pm in the afternoon.
