Remember 1st July, 2015? It was no ordinary day for the weather. Because bang in the middle of a short hot spell, THREE thunderstorms hit the North of England in the space of ONE day. From Barnsley to Newcastle, over Skipton and Keighley, they produced flash flooding, dramatic thunder and lightning and a 130km swathe of large hailstones. 大象传媒 Look North weatherman Paul Hudson asks if it could happen again and what we learned from it. And talking of hailstones, Paul discovers that they;'re such a nuisance to French vines that winegrowers in Burgundy are protecting their Chablis and Beaujolais with a huge hailstone shield. Plus a chilly northerly causing frost in April - and temperatures of minus 43 - which feel like plus 5. All on the Weather Show this week with Paul Hudson.
