Town regeneration plans revealed
Plans for the regeneration of Flitwick town centre have been revealed by Central Bedfordshire Council.
The council wants to develop land next to the railway station, with a bus interchange, flats and a new supermarket.
Residents have said plans for a major regeneration must include a scheme to deal with increasing traffic.
The plans show development on a council-owned brownfield site next to the railway station and the adjacent station forecourt owned by Network Rail.
Residents, tenants, business owners and investors will be consulted on the plan during the summer.
