Reading Women FC: Chambers on tough first game
The Reading Women FC Manager says that the side's first Spring Series game will be tricky.
Kelly Chamber's side face Bristol City on Saturday 22nd in the first game of the Spring Series, a bridge competition between a summer and a winter league.
"It will be a tough first game," Chambers told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "I've been to watch them play and they're a young side.
"They work hard, they're very feisty, they have a certain way of playing, they like to get the ball down and play, they have got some good attacking threats."
And Chambers also said she was glad to get yet another signing on board, with the signing of Anissa Lahmari from PSG on loan.
"Agents are in women's football all the time now so it came about through that.
"Anissa is a very exciting, attacking player, and obviously right now it is something we are short on...we brought her in for a two month loan with the view of extending that for the competitive season."
