Reading FC: Stam pleased to bounce back
After a heavy defeat to Norwich, the Royals boss was happy to beat a 'quality' side.
It also marked the first time that Reading FC have ever won at Villa Park.
"We spoke about it last week...in how we needed to bounce back," he told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "We've done it several times this season.
"We knew playing a side who has just come out of the Premier League... it is not going to be easy."
He was also full of praise for Joseph Mendes, who got his first two league goals for the club in the win.
"He's a very good guy, you've seen during the season in how he's been working, he's improved a lot as a player.
"His technique is getting better and better as well, so we're very happy with him."
