French Election: Too close to call?
The 大象传媒's Jim Naughtie is in France as they face the first round of the election.
The main candidates for the French presidency have held some of their last rallies before Sunday's first round vote.
The centrist, Emmanuel Macron, was in the western city of Nantes. Marine Le Pen of the far right National Front, who's expected to be his main rival, spoke in Marseille in the south. The latest polls suggest her support has been slipping. The candidate of the centre-right Republican party, Francois Fillon, was joined on the campaign by the former prime minister, Alain Jupp茅, for the first time since a damaging scandal broke alleging that Mr Fillon paid relatives for fake jobs.
The 大象传媒's James Naughtie is in Metz in Eastern France.
