Wiltshire World Record Attempting Shoe
Martin Pearce from Westbury is running the London Marathon this weekend and attempting to beat a world record in the process - a feat which he will accomplish if he runs the distance in under 4 hours and 14 minutes.
When he turned 50 he decided to start ticking things off his bucket list - including this marathon.
He's got very little movement inside and he's wearing elbow pads so it doesn't chafe too much.
He runs with a bladder filled with a litre and a half of water, which should get him to 15 miles before he has to refill.
Inside the shoe he has jelly beans and gels attached by velcro to keep him going!
