Jobs boost for Kishorn dry dock
Two hundred jobs are to be created in Kishorn to build parts for floating wind turbines.
Kincardine Offshore Windfarm project has chosen the site to make large concrete structures for the eight-turbine wind farm which will located nine miles (15km) south east of Aberdeen.
The dry dock was last used in the construction of the Skye Bridge in the 1990s and previously employed more than 3,000 people in the 1970s when it was used by the North Sea oil and gas industry.
Once constructed, the renewable energy scheme will be one of the world's largest floating offshore wind farms.
