Mark Harper: "People should look at our record" on tax

Mark Harper MP has told the Westminster Hour that "If people look at our record, what we鈥檝e actually done, they can see that we cut taxes鈥�.

Questioned whether a future Conservative government is committed to the tax lock, Mr Harper said that people "should be patient" and wait for the manifesto, before insisting that the Conservative Party needs to make it clear that it will keep taxes low. "How we word that, I鈥檓 content to leave to the Prime Minister and the Chancellor", Mr Harper added.
