Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mayoral Election 2017: Stephen Goldspink
With elections to find a new mayor for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough a short time away, we've been looking at the candidates vying to occupy that role.
The winning candidate will control a multimillion-pound budget, with direct powers over housing and growth.
The English Democrats' candidate is a former Peterborough city councillor, Stephen Goldspink.
He says he's "pro-car" and backs local jobs for local people.
He's an admirer of Donald Trump and if elected, has invited the US president to visit Cambridgeshire.
Our political reporter Mousumi Bakshi put him in the mayoral hot seat.
The full list of candidates:
Paul Bullen - UKIP
Rod Cantrill - Liberal Democrats
Peter Dawe - Independent
