Writing obituaries for living people: the idea behind The Black Obituary Project
Writer Ja'han Jones describes how police shootings in the US inspired his project. He asks contributors to write obituaries for themselves, as a way of highlighting the often negative way that black men and women are described by the media after they are killed.
