UK 'needs to be more pro-active' in EU negotiation
When the UK gets through the general election, there is a need to ensure there remains "enough space for a sensible, constructive negotiation" with the EU, said a former British former diplomat.
Speaking to the Westminster Hour, Sir Simon Fraser said he did not think the EU has significantly hardened its position, and warned against 鈥渁llowing the rhetoric to destroy the opportunity for negotiation."
