Sleepless nights on the Nairobi slow train
The Mombasa-Nairobi railway has been carrying passengers overnight from Kenya's coast to the capital for many decades but last month, one of Africa's oldest train services reached its terminus. It's being replaced by a modern high speed track and trains that promise to cut the overnight journey in half - good news for those in a hurry but what about those who like their travel slow and sociable? Alex Mureithi from 大象传媒 Swahili remembers travelling during those more leisurely days.
