Former advisor: ‘Corbyn will still be leader if defeated’
A former member of Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership team has told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 live that Jeremy Corbyn will stay on as leader, even if he’s defeated in the General Election – unless Labour’s share of the vote goes below 20%.
Harry Fletcher, who worked in Corbyn’s office for the first year of his leadership as a PR adviser, told Emma Barnett:
“My understanding is that he would stay on, unless it was a total disaster… let's say it's down below 20% in the final outcome.
