In defence of pieing...
The boss of Qantas, Alan Joyce, received a cream pie in his face on Monday. A man identified by local media as the attacker later criticised the airline chief's support for same-sex marriage. But Mr Joyce is not the first to get this treatment - Rupert Murdoch, head of News International narrowly escaped one while appearing before a UK parliamentary committee in 2011. So is pieing a silly stunt, or a valid form of comment? The 大象传媒's Roger Hearing spoke to Gersh Kuntzmann, a columnist with the New York Daily News.
