After Theresa May proposed "the greatest expansion in workers' rights by any Conservative government in history", candidate Kwasi Kwarteng was asked whether the policy was costed.
Labour's elections coordinator Ian Lavery was asked about his party's policy, while Labour peer Helena Kennedy joined in the discussion, but the Conservatives were unable to offer a front bench spokesperson for the studio debate.
