Vaughan: England could follow Australian lead with pay dispute
Former England captain Michael Vaughan says the current pay dispute between Australian players and their governing body could be repeated with the England team.
Australia vice-captain David Warner has warned there may not be a team to play the Ashes series against England in November, because despite Cricket Australia proposing salary increases for men and women, it would mean their players no longer receive a percentage of CA's revenue.
The England and Wales Cricket Board is currently negotiating a new TV broadcast rights deal, and Vaughan believes, with the anticipated increase in revenue it will receive, the ECB should not expect players to "sit back and accept" the same levels of pay.
