Photo of Black University of Cambridge students goes viral
An image of fourteen black male students studying at University of Cambridge has gone viral. It was released to encourage more young black people to apply. Thirty eight out of three and a half thousand students at the University of Cambridge are black. The African-Caribbean Society was behind the shoot, and said the purpose was to "remind young black individuals that Cambridge is for us". It also said Cambridge is not to blame for the lack of black students. It is a view shared by Target Oxbridge, a project designed to support black teenagers wanting to attend Universities such as Cambridge. Naomi Kellman is from Target Oxbridge, and speaks to Nikki Tapper about her experience of attending the University of Oxford in the following interview
