Public events subject to strict security
Several major public events in Scotland will be subject to rigorous security measures at the weekend.
Nicola Sturgeon said air and rail travellers and people attending the Scottish Cup Final, the Edinburgh marathon, the visit of Barack Obama and the Lisbon Lions memorial event in Glasgow will be affected.
In a statement in Holyrood, the first minister stressed that: "no specific threat to Scotland has been identified".
The UK terror threat level was upgraded to critical following a suicide bomb attack at a concert in Manchester on Monday.
