Several newspapers are reporting that the governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, has fallen victim to an online prankster.

The Guardian says the prankster got Mark Carney to joke about one of his predecessor Eddie George's supposed drinking habits. This is not the first public account of how big Mr George's drinks cabinet was.
