Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood has said that the Conservative Party will win the 2017 General Election with "that increased mandate that they want".

Asked by the Westminster Hour's Carolyn Quinn whether Plaid Cymru would be willing to join a "progressive alliance", Wood replied "I don't think we're in that territory".

She went on to describe Theresa May as "the leader of the national party of England" and suggested that a vote for Plaid Cymru MPs was the only way to ensure that Wales' voice would be on the agenda.
