The SNP's Patrick Grady has said "it is not unreasonable to ask for the Scottish government to be represented" in Brexit negotiations.

Mr Grady told Eddie Mair the party was asking for a seat at the table, saying: "The whole point of voting for SNP members of parliament in this election is to make sure that Scotland's voice is heard."

Speaking on the day of the manifesto launch, Mr Grady also acknowledged that "more work needs to be done" on education and said the party was providing "money directly to head teachers in order to invest in the needs of their specific schools".
