The war photographer who cared about fashion
Stanley Greene, one of the only African-American war photographers, covered conflicts in Chechnya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Rwanda, and Serbia. But before he was a photojournalist, Stanley was a fashion photographer. His friend and colleague, Nina Berman, says that he never completely left those days behind.
