'Real muscle' needed behind Prevent strategy
Former Justice Secretary Lord Falconer has said that proper resources have to be put into the Prevent strategy to "give real support to the community coming forward with people they are concerned about".
Speaking to the Westminster Hour, Lord Falconer said there has to be "real muscle" put behind the strategy "so that the Muslim community has confidence" when coming forward with information.
He concluded, "If you don鈥檛 put real money into the Prevent strategy you are not going to get the results you need in order to stop the sort of terrorist attacks we鈥檝e had.鈥
