Ousted Tory: 'Campaign wasn't visionary'

Theresa May has apologised to Conservative MPs who lost their seats in the general election -- but insisted that she is now committed to forming a government in the national interest.

Neil Carmichael is one of those MPs. He had represented the people of Stroud from 2010 until the election.

He explained to 大象传媒 Radio 4's PM programme, that the three things which he felt had lost him his seat were
that the "campaign wasn't sufficiently positive", the rethink on the social care policy mid campaign, and the "hard Brexit approach, which I don't think all of the electorate were impressed with".
