DUP deal 'will not be a relationship made in heaven'
Shadow Leader of the House of Lords, Baroness Angela Smith, has called the potential deal between the Conservatives and the DUP "an impetuous decision taken in panic" and warned that it "will not be a relationship made in heaven".
Baroness Smith described the Prime Minister as "between a rock and a hard place" but warned that the DUP are "significantly to the right socially to the vast majority of Conservative MPs" and that their support will come with a price including funding for schools.
