Selkirk's borders safe in Common Riding
Hundreds of riders have taken to the streets of Selkirk for the town's Common Riding.
The event dates back hundreds of years and the elected standard bearer carries the flag through the town and around the ancient borders of the burgh.
Keiron Riddell, this year's standard bearer, said he had waited a few years for the "amazing" experience.
Selkirk Provost Jake Wheelans insisted the flag had always come back unsullied and untarnished.
