'The obvious solution is the EEA'
Kinnock: we won't get a "tailored bespoke transition deal" with EU
The UK will not get a "tailored bespoke transition deal" in negotiations with the EU, Stephen Kinnock has said. Speaking to the Westminster Hour, Mr Kinnock said that the "obvious solution" would be the EEA, which he described as a "ready made package".
He added that the advantage of a transition deal is that it would offer more time to negotiate big issues such as trade freedom of movement, saying that "if we try and do that by March 2019 we鈥檒l be doing it with a gun held to our heads".
