When power goes to your head
Scans reveal how the brains of our leaders are changed by power. New research shows that those who reach
the highest levels of their profession or company often lose some of the abilities that helped get them there in the first place. Brain scans of those in power resemble the brains of people who've suffered head trauma.
Those transformations can make leaders more impulsive and less able to see something from someone else's point of view.
Professor Raghavendra Rau from Cambridge University has been involved in the research.
