Saudi Arabia ratchets up pressure on Qatar
The Arab boycott of Qatar over its alleged support for Islamist groups and Iran shows no sign of fizzling out.
The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bahrain cut diplomatic ties with Qatar three weeks ago. They've severed transport links and disrupted trade. Now, in an interview with the British newspaper the Guardian, the UAE's ambassador to Moscow, Omar Ghobash, threatened Qatar with more sanctions. That may include asking their trading partners to choose between them or Qatar. Meanwhile, businesses across India brace for upheaval, as the country heads for its biggest reform of taxes since independence. We talk to the 大象传媒's Sameer Hashmi in Mumbai.
