Sir Billy Connolly has received an honorary doctorate from Strathclyde University.
The Big Yin was recognised for his contribution to society at the university's graduation ceremonies.
It comes the week after the comedy legend was given a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
He told the media that he'd only ever been to university to deliver coal and leaflets.
